Looks like the latest Redstone book, Lost Lives has arrived. It’s a whopper of a tale that you might struggle to believe but let me assure you, it happened. My partner, Det. Daniels, and I have experienced more than most will ever understand, so we usually keep it to ourselves. Until Bishop chooses to write about it of course, and then all our dirty laundry gets aired for all of you to enjoy, which is weird if you think about it. I won’t complain though. It’s a living. Anyway, enjoy the book. I’m not much of a writer. I’m more of an eater so I’m going to get some coffee and find a chocolate donut before Daniels shows and tries to offer me a crappy protein bar.

Det. Remalla is correct about Lost Lives. It’s a story I wouldn’t begin to believe if I heard it from someone else. Or maybe I would. In my line of work, I experience plenty of spirit encounters, so the events that occur in Lost Lives aren't much of a stretch. And when Lindsey showed and joined Trick, I should have known something was up. I’ll be more careful in the future. I have to say though that we all stepped up to the plate and handled ourselves in a dangerous situation. When the stuff hits the fan, you definitely find out what you’re made of.

Enjoy the book but be careful out there. This world is full of surprises and a lot of them can kill you.
